That would most likely be your final bill.
You can download the pdf ebill and see what dates the bill is for.
Did you port the number out from Koodo?

Your past balance if any, last month up till the day you cancelled plus any tab amount owing will be charged on your final bill.

The problem is that the account is not cancelled. I checked my account today accidentally and found out that it's still going and nothing cancelled! I tried to call koodo but there was just an answering machine.

Did you port your number out? (Bring your Koodo number over to your new carrier) or did you just sign up with the new carrier with a new number?

If you got a new number from the new carrier then you didn't port over, porting over is signing up with the new carrier with the same number as the previous carrier

Did you port your Koodo number to the new carrier? If not then it wouldn't be cancelled and you'll need to call customer service (1-866-995-6636) and cancel. If you ported your number to the new carrier then and ONLY then does it cancel your account with the previous carrier, in this case koodo

It's unfortunate that you just started a new "relationship" and were already misinformed. :-(
