Don't think there are any Koodo issues, Christopher, whereabouts are you? Did you check the settings if Koodo is selected (or selectable) from the list of providers? Perhaps the SIM card got damaged, or are you in a different area? Could be lots of things (including forgotten to pay the bill, lol) so let's troubleshoot :)

Did you try pulling out the battery and sim for a few and then restarting your phone?

A phone from 06/07 is pretty old. Could be that it's time has come

What model of phone are you using?

You could check that you're in the correct network mode.

[protip: 3G/HSPA/WCDMA = :), 2G/GSM = no service = :(.]

I'd like to take this opportunity to clear up a little misconception or two on the shutdown of CDMA.

You're right that Saskatchewan is getting the whole network shut down (Sasktel's call, not Telus/Koodo) but the only thing officially scheduled for shutdown in BC and Alberta is the EVDO data, not the whole network. This just means that CDMA devices in BC and Alberta will be stuck with a 1X data connection, which is significantly slower.

Also, no other provinces are scheduled for CDMA shutdown of any kind at this time.

CDMA network turndown in Saskatchewan will take place on April 30, 2014
This impacts voice and data users who currently have a 306 and 639 CDMA area code
Customers who do not upgrade to a 4G device prior to April 30, 2014 will be cancelled
Customers can reactivate their accounts with their old number within 90 days.
If a customer wants to reactivate, they can reactivate on a 4G phone with $100 towards the device. The difference will need to be placed on Tab (customer is subject to approved credit) .

Now that that's cleared up, Teabird has a point. Customer's with the same phone since Koodo's inception are probably using a CDMA phone, so if you live in Saskatchewqn that might be your problem.
