Help with Understanding Shock Free Data

Hi,

I recently signed up for the $60/10 Gb plan for my child. I would like them to not be able to go past the 10Gb per month.

I am finding the "Change Data Settings" option in Self-Serve confusing. What if I don't want them to be able to text "Yes" to continue with data?

Is there anyway to set up the account so that this may happen?

I don't think there is an option for it, unfortunately. You will have to tell your child not to text Yes, and you are fully responsible for it as the owner of the number.

There is no option for this right now but such a feature is coming in the near future so just make due for now!

Hi Kevin,

As far as I know there isn't such an option. And the reason behind it is because some folks when they run out of data and need it desperately like to have that option available in case of emergencies. They would have to create two tear system for people with different needs.

I don't know how old is your child but education and teaching some responsibility could be another option.

If someone else knows better please correct me if I am wrong.
