Hello Rommel,

You need to call Koodo in order to unlock your iPhone. Dial *611 from your Koodo phone to do that.

Once the Koodo SIM is inserted, and the phone is connected to a cellular network, you should be able to call Koodo, and request an unlock. I suggest Skype as the cheapest way to call.

So i MUST have a Koodo Sim as required for unlocking phones. Right? Or is there any other option without koodo sim except using third party services? I just have the account and pin of my father. Thanks David.

Effectively, the phone needs to be able to connect to Koodo through the cellular network for an unlock to proceed. The SIM I the phone must be registered to the account which will request the unlock.

With iPhones there is no code to unlock. It is server based and the phone will need to be registered ad unlocked on apple's systems.

How you you know the 3rd party was a scam? Have you tried rebooting your phone?
