Traveling to US from Canada.. using a Samsung HTC smartphone. I text 3ALL to 4545 to add $30 traveler plan but it just says "Not able to add this, call *611"

...and of course it's CLOSED. I leave at 6am. HELP

Try accessing m.koodoroam.com from the browser on your phone.

Does not work from anything other than your device.

P.S. Roaming packages not available to prepaid customers.

It's been on our bills for the last few months. You know where they advertise their things? On the invoice. Mind you it's stupid what they did because I was trying to link to the website from my computer but just kept givinge a "not found"!error. Then i tried from my phone and it worked.

And how many of us actually read the "fine print" on our eBills? Should be some kind of splash screen when you log into self-serve listing new features this month.

It is there, but you'd have to go the plans and add on page on self serve. So, it's kind of useless because those are the people that already know about what they need to do. You are right they should have it in people's face a little more.

THANKS though I tried it again just for the heck of it, and lo-and-behold it worked.

Strange why it sent the error message originally. Hopefully they don't charge me twice, I assume they have a computer protocol to avoid that. Cheers.

Posted this scenario as an idea. Even worse, if you were outside USA (say Europe) you would have to landline CALL Koodo long distance to get ANY kind of cell connection let alone a roaming package.

Hmmm.....that's not the case Bob. We were able to use 611 when we needed help while in Europe.

Good to hear. Previous party stranded in Belgium did not clarify.
