hi Jordan,
When did you buy the iPhone SE? If you bought the device after Dec1, the iPhone was already unlocked.

If you cancelled your account, you cannot call Koodo through 611 anymore. If you want to contact Koodo you could reach them @ 1 (866) 995-6636 or send message to their facebook/twitter.

Well we are not necessarily always free to say what we want unfortunately.

But if someone wants to wait on hold for 2 hours and get hung up on they are free to do that.  With facebook and twitter private messages you need to authenticate who you are, so it is less likely to be missed.  Not to say mistakes dont happen.  But another follow up Hello works well in those cases

You're most welcome Ivan.

Jordan however you decide to get ahold of Koodo they have to unlock your phone even if you're not a current customer.

Here is an example of messeger chats working very well with a customer.

Dennis I know messenger/Twitter works just fine sometimes as a means of contacting Koodo which you guys are suggested to tell people. So does calling. It's hit and miss with either on how well it goes. Both options should be given to people when looking for help.

I'll pass this on to our Koodo contact

Thanks for your help everyone. I was finally able to get through to Koodo after trying all afternoon. They also got back to me on Facebook around the same time so either option could work for people that run into this problem in the future. Thanks again.

Moral of the story: when was the last time you saw anything that was FREE not have a long line up with the accompanying complaints?
