My son is in Toronto. When he was on the train, his phone stopped working.
He needs the phone to connect with his friends. We live in Chatham. How can he get help?

It's possible that he's not near a tower to be able to connect to. It's best to wait until he's in a city to see if he connects to the network.

When you say his phone stopped working do mean it can't make calls? Or is it not even turning on?

He could try removing the battery (if possible) and the SIM and re-inserting them. If it was just a service interruption or a delayed handoff between towers during his trip that should be all it takes to reconnect
