Hi Lori,

Did you enable the USB connection? When you link your Nexus to the computer, you need to pull down the notification center and manually enable sending and receiving files.

I never, ever connect my Nexus to the computer, I usually transfer files using Dropbox or Google Drive. In case of music, I managed to set up Google Music, uploaded all my tunes via the desktop and now I can play them directly on my Nexus (or download them for offline play).

Let us know if you still need more help :)

Sophia,

Wow, i really didn't know that! I just put all my music on a 100GB Flashdrive, but Google Music sounds waaaaay better. Whenever i connect my Samsung Intensity, i insert the microsdhc adaptor then press connect to pc through the phone and it works.

Btw, your cute.

Hahahaha! Gee, thanks, you made my day, ah heck who am I kidding, my whole year :D

You will need to use a proxy to set up Google Music the very fist time, but then you're home free. You can upload 20,000 tunes, I would imagine that'll beat even your 100GB Flashdrive :D
