Hello, I am a current koodo customer with my own phone and a  37 CAD plan (300 min, 300 mb). I want to buy a new phone with a tab option (assume iphone 5s, for which I will be supposed to pat 15 dollars per month). My question is whether my current plan price will be changed or not and whether there are any restrictions for the new iphone use or not (fo example a possibility to install applications etc). If I want to break the contract after I have paid it off, how much will it cost? If I break the phone during two years contract, how much will it cost? PS: I have never used contract phons, so I don't know how does it work. Could you please indicate some other important details? And also it looks confusing for me that the phone price with the contract (15*24=360) is less than the price for the retail phone(634).

You can keep your plan( you don't have to change if you use the "Tab" option  :)
There is no restrictions for your new phone, so you can play around with your phone.

iphone 5s has a great deal with Tab right now. (There is an activation credit)
It's $0 upfront and $15/mo tab fee for next 24 months.
> your monthly charge will be $37 plan + $15 tab + overage if any +tax

If you want to upgrade your phone again (before 24 mo is up), you just need to pay off remaining of the tab balance

Once you paid off your tab, you just pay for plan and cancel your service anytime if you want ;)

If you break your phone(physical or water damage), it's all on you. You have to fix it out of pocket or you need to buy a new one.
( you can buy a Koodo's extend warranty add-on if you want )
