Hi Alex,

You can find several battery options on Amazon or eBay. None of them are sold directly by LG however, if you make sure you get a 2800 mAh battery you should be okay. If not, you can try to contact LG directly but they don't have any listed online as available.

Bestbuy canada seems to have some. http://www.bestbuy.ca/en-CA/Search/SearchResults.aspx?query=%20BL-42D1F

Don't think they are directly from LG, but you can track down bestbuy if something goes wrong at least.

You'd actually have to track down the company you bought it from as both of those items are from marketplace sellers.
Good options none the less.

Customer paid Bestbuy, not directly to the company. Although the sellers are independent, but they had to follow certain rules of Bestbuy marketplace, like payment and delivery..

Ahh i was referring to returns and such. One of those marketplace sellers only allows 7 days for returns for example.
This is all besides the point now though.

You could use bestbuy as a front to chase down the seller, telling them you will make a complaint to bestbuy if the seller didn't honor warranty or any promises.
thanks
