Having trouble with new SIM card in unlocked Koodi IPhone 4

I've had my IPhone 4 unlocked and tested it with a Telus SIM card. Now I'm overseas and the SIM card I've put in is not working. I've reset the network and the phone. Any suggestions?

Testing it with a telus sim card isn't a sure way to tell if it's unlocked as koodo iphones work with telus and it goes the other way around too. Did you jail break unlock your iphone? Since if you update on a jailbroken iphone it will be locked again. What country are you in and are you using a prepaid sim there or are you roaming?

It was a Koodo unlock. I'm in Australia and yes it is a prepaid sim.

Did you connect it to iTunes to complete the unlock process?

Yes and it said it was unlocked
