Good News People!!! Easy roam isnt an only option when travelling to the USA!

First I'd like to say the "admins" on here either 1. dont know their company like you'd assume or 2. just straight up bullshitters to upsell an option! I will NEVER ever refer to this community again for any kind of information due to these admins! But you ALL deserve to know! 
Thanks to the amazing guy at the Koodo kiosk by my home I found out the truth!!!!

Easy roam is NOT your only option when travelling to the USA (not sure about internationally)
I inquired ON HERE a while back as I knew I was going to be out of the country for 3 weeks and still wanted to use my phone. I was told ON HERE by an "admin" or "mod" whatever they are that Easy roam was my ONLY option. 
BULLSHIT!
I went to the Koodo kiosk and inquired cause I knew there used to be these options for a 30day plan when travelling. To my surprise after being told on here that the dreaded easy roam was gonna be my only option, and couldnt find any info on the website, the guy said "Oh ya, you just have to call in, it's not something they have on the website you just have to give customer service a call and they'll fix you up!" 
So I did just that this morning & BOOM i can now use my phone unlimited (airtime/messaging) for the entire time I'm gone! They have 3 options to choose from now, each last 30days   30$(unltd msging , $45(unltd airtime/msging) & $75 (unltd airtime/msging with some data) 
They even waive the $10 fee to make the change because you cannot do it from the website.

So thank you awesome customer service rep whos name i wish i remembered & shame on you admins for not giving proper information!

As far as we have been told, those add-ons are recurring add-ons and you need to be gone for more than a month in order to utilize them. We do recommend them here on the community every now and again though.

You can see her Bernard (one of the Koodo reps) in thid post told the OP to contact them via Facebook to get the add-on.

You are correct Allan. And Abbie may not have been given the whole story at our Koodo store. :-( Which is unfortunate.

We are trying to help people here.  We are not working for Koodo, (we are just volunteer like you.)
And I see your question from month ago and I see they tried to help you with minimum info -you never mentioned how long you will be gone.
And those adds are recurring as Allan said, so maybe they weren't aware of it at that time. I thought only $45(unltd airtime/msging) was available as of today. (I must missed their update info)

Also, I don't see they told you that  " Easy roam was your ONLY option." I see the very first answer said "Pay per use rates are available"

I just want to say that I felt this is really unfair you call out their helps as BULLSHIT when they only tried to help you.
