I recently signed up for a line with Koodo.I was told that I was only approved for one line. This surprised me so I immediately had my credit checked the next day and saw that I have a credit score of 821, which is excellent. WHy was I only approved for 1 line? Thanks.

I Believe only Koodo customer support will be able to tell you why the credit system only allowed you one phone. This community forum has no access to Koodos credit system!

Are you on a spending limit program?

No I was approved for a tab and got the Nexus 6P on 21/Tab. I called customers service and they advised me that I have passed a credit check and will be eligible for add on lines after 90 days.

Why is this? They didn't have an answer for me as to why I needed to wait 90 days.

An employee will have to answer as to why it's 90days exactly. All I know is my account is the same way so its not anything to do with your credit specifically. Its the way Koodo treats all accounts.

I think it's because before they add more lines under the one account that they want to make sure you are able to pay your bill on time for a few months before they allow you to add more. At this point, you could probably setup a 2nd seperate account and then combine the two after 90 days

Went to the kiosk in the mall and they said because I was 23 years old they automatically put a 90 day hold on my account. I was approved for 6 lines with Rogers but I can't justify the costs. Looks like I'll have to weather these 90 days.

Hopefully after 90 days I can open up 3 more lines for the rest of my family.
