Go monthly text maybe. I recieved a text that says go monthly for unlimited canada wide calling and texting for 20 a month. But link to koodo.com doesnt say what to do once there. Tried logging it to prepaid. It says it is at checkout you enter your promotion words but nowhere to enter it

Did you give you the link to switch? I just posted a instruction on another thread: Follow the link in the text then you would have to add a SIM first --> Then click on "let's get start" --> Find  "Got a Promo Code" (top right of your screen) --> Enter the promo code --> you should see the promo plan. Choose it and follow the further instruction.

As I already had a plan, I haven't done it myself. Hopefully it will work for you.

Keep in mind that if done online you will need to purchase a new postpaid SIM card for $15 but if you switch over at your local Koodo kiosk you can use the prepaid SIM you already have and waive the $15 for a new postpaid SIM card you have the option.
