It's basically like the nexus 5, offers good hardware at a reasonable price. The camera on this phone seems very promising since sony makes very nice sensors. It also has a 5mp front facing camera like the htc one m8.

Also there is a 'Smash the past' program on one plus one to get the phone for $1. DON'T SMASH YOUR PHONES YET as many people have already... You have to first apply for it then one plus will pick 100 smashers THEN you can smash your old phone and get a new one plus one.
The phone retails for $299 for the 16gb and $349 for the 64gb! If koodo does get it, hopefully it will be priced reasonably.

Let me know what you think :)

I don't think that there are any plans to sell this phone through any carrier at the moment. In any case, even if Koodo carried it, they wouldn't sell it for less than $500, like the Nexus 5.

Is it sold directly through Sony?

It's not a Sony phone, just uses a Sony camera. The phone is the first from the company OnePlus; a startup founded by Pete Lau, who was previously VP at OPPO (hence the OnePlus One bears striking similarities with the Oppo Find 7).

I feel like this is actually designed to be a carrier free phone. I wouldn't mind getting it after I sell my One (M7).
