Service with Koodo but not inside house, every other person I know who has a phone with a different carrier can use phone inside. So get snowsuit on and sit on the deck when winter comes. Will never recommend Koodoo and will switch immediately when able. They say they cannot guarantee service inside house. Hopefully, this will discourage people from going with Koodoo.

It's definetely the materials used to build your home or something in your home is blocking signal. If it works outside, but not inside YOUR home how is that Koodo fault? Which phone do u have? How long has this been going on?

Do any of these people have service with Telus and it works for them? Koodo is owned by Telus so it's the same network. If you're having issues while they are not, then the problem is definitely not with Koodo.

Telus also shares the network with another big provider which is no secret so if telus and b... service work in the house than its the phone not the network.

It's important to note that the phone used also has an effect on reception.

If you're in Ontario or east of Ontario, you're sharing the network with Telus, Bell, and Virgin. If your friends that have signal in your home are on any of those networks, then it's not a lack of network coverage.

I just spoke to a support person with Koodoo who explained the service perfectly. Had that happened when I first called those comments would not have been made.

Were you able to resolve your reception issue? Did you just get the phone? If so, you have 15 days from time of purchase to return or exchange the phone.

Just wanted to add that there is not one cellular service provider anywhere that will guarantee service inside buildings.

And not just limited to inside buildings, there are other factors that could affect service.

"In addition, service failures or interruptions can occur due to events beyond Koodo’s reasonable control. These may include:"

Atmospheric conditions (including solar activities);
Physical obstacles interfering with the transmission of radio signals;
Limitations on the capacity of the network to carry traffic from all nearby users;
Technical limitations of the systems of other telecommunications companies or limitations of the interconnection of transmission facilities;
Defects or failures in network equipment; or
Emergency or public safety requirements.
