My Samsung Galaxy S4 recently updated to Kit-Kat. Since then, several times a day, it looses its connection to the Koodo network (goes to zero bars or circle with slash). It does not recover from this on it's own. The only way to get it to reconnect is to restart the phone. Strangely, while I was roaming in the US for the past 2.5 weeks, this was not a problem. What's up? Is anybody else experiencing this problem?

Until Samsung pushes an update to the device try running it on HSPA Only instead of the LTE connection this will solve the issue until a fix is pushed by Samsung.

I haven't had any issues since running 4G connection only. I'm a bit sad about missing out on LTE for now, so hopefully Samsung issues a fix soon :)

Thanks Paul...

I'll try it without LTE and see if that helps for now. Does it make sense that it looses its network more frequently when I am on wifi at home? The trick I was using to avoid loosing the network every hour was leaving wifi off.
