Galaxy S2X Jelly Bean Update - Battery issue

I have recently updated my GS2X to Jelly Bean 4.1.2 and have noticed a slight issue. Whenever the phone is "charged" it goes from saying 100% on the battery indicator (when battery percentage is displayed) to 98% I don't know if this is a known problem or what. I am wondering if I should let the phone die down completely and fully charge it. Please let me know if there is a solution to this issue.

Try doing a battery pull (take your battery out while the phone is on and leave it out for two minutes)

After that, leave it run for a bit and go into settings/battery and see what it using up your battery. I wouldn't worry about the 2 %. My samsung captivate used to do that all the time. It would charge to 100% and then actually discharge to 90% (display would show 100% until I disconnected the charger, then immediately show between 90-98%)

I actually resolved my issue. Charge phone while off, then turn phone on. After not phone will show 97-98% download battery stat eraser, NĂ©ma's app works well, run it regardless the battery being 100% or not and turn phone off. Let charge to 100% re-power phone and let charge. This time you should get a 100% icon and to disconnect phone from charger icon like in ICS. Now battery charge state behaving like ICS."

My coworker had this phone and had a similar issue with the Cyanogenmod version of JB, so they ordered a fatback batter similar to this

If you can handle the big size you get 2x the battery

Wow! Kinda reminds me of the days when the Motorola MicroTAC 9800X reigned supreme, lol! One thing though, upgrading to the battery (shown above) will likely mean you'll lose NFC or near field communication ability. The NFC chip is built right into the stock battery of the S2x.
