galaxy 8+ shipping delay

I placed my order on mar 29th for the grey s8+, yet people that order around April 4th are receiving their shipping emails. Yet, I have received nothing. This seems kind of unfair to me.

Shipping wouldn't start till the 17th as stated on our website, so not sure what you mean. Send us a Facebook private message with your order number and someone can look into it, but I'm certain orders no sooner than the date I mentioned above.

Yes. It's odd. I have no idea what order (if any) they are shipping them out in. It's obviously not by order date.

It's fine. It's no use for anyone else. Will get back to you although it will likely be on Monday as Incant look myself and the office is closed tomorrow for Easter.

Don't worry guys all carriers even in the US are delaying orders so don't feel it's a koodo issue specifically.

koodo reps have not been helpful at all, I mean i'm not blaming them for the delay. Just am frustrated that i'm not getting an answer which makes sense.

Have you tried emailing the webstore with your order number? Maybe they can give you a more definitive answer as to when your phone will ship, and why it hasn't.

Manpreet I have no access to the account you're trying to compare your situation to. I can only provide info. based on your scenario. Having cleared the issues related to your shipping details - which may have delayed the overall processing time by 1-2 business days - your order is currently waiting to be fulfilled and shipped. But, as noted above, there is an inventory constraint specifically on the colour you ordered based on what we're receiving from Samsung. I understand and appreciate that you're eagerly awaiting your new phone - as soon as we have the inventory, your order will be processed and shipped out to you.

your saying the same thing over again, and I keep asking even if that made the delay. how could someone who placed their order on the april 5th get it before me? Even with the the 2 day delay i should be receiving it the same time as that person. Clearly a person at the warehouse has messed up.

I am still waiting although i have no patience i wont rant about it but hope to get it no later then friday we will see what happens. Gonna go return my lg v20 phone since i am within 15 days as late as friday

Hey Manpreet Don't worry about it I'm the same when it comes to getting my hands on the latest tech your just passionate about tech and wanting to be able to experience a device while it's still exciting and there's buzz around it and lots of ppl talking that you can give your own opinion on the subject. They're working hard to get them to ppl by end of the week but depends when the shipment arrives. They didn't get the Full amount of stock they had ordered from Samsung in the initial order but have some coming in hopefully today or tomorrow to fill the massive number of preorders they received. They will begin calling ppl if they don't get the order on time to let them know when to expect your device if not by Friday.

If there in at the stores on friday , can always pick it up there just that ill probably lose out on the headset and id have to cancel the preorder, tried out the headset and its pretty cool so we will see

First impressions:
The display is "yuuuuuuge!!" It has the slight pink tint at the top and bottom that some people have been reporting, but it seems to be getting better the more I use it. It may just be the adhesive used in display layers curing. I'll give it a week before I freak out.

Audio quality is really good with the included AKG earphones. Much better than my Pixel XL.

The phone if FAST. It's just as smooth as my Pixel which runs stock Android. The latest version of TouchWiz is much less bloated, and more refined.

Samsung pay is working with my CIBC Visa (you have to register for the Canadian trial first).

The fingerprint sensor SUCKS. It is in a very inconvenient spot that's hard to easily reach (even for big hands), and it usually takes 2 tries to register.

The iris scanner is blazing fast now, which takes the pain away from the fingerprint sensor. I mean really fast. It is so fast, it registers before the picture popup appears most of the time. I have glasses, and it work perfectly.

Bixby is pretty useless at this point, but it will improve. Sadly, as soon as you power up the phone, there's a software update waiting that kills the ability to remap the Bixby button to something useful. Boooooo Samsung.

Overall it's a great phone. I already don't miss my Note 7.

Oh yes, and the camera seems to beat my Pixel XL, which has an amazing camera. Definitely improved software image processing over the Note 7/S7 Edge.

I haven't even opened mine, and most likely won't. I'll just sell it. I have no interest in VR.

I am reading and some people dont have the issue and the display settings dont help so they recommend to replace if its an issue for the red tint
