full bars no sevice

i have a samsung galaxy s3, had the phone for about half a year with very good sevice and singal. i live outside of regina, outside of city limits and always had good siganl. a week ago i couldn't get any calls or text, found out that my phone said i have a unregeisted sim card. so got a new one and worked for a couple of days, now i have too keep find a koodo sevice, or selected network. it keeps droping the network and says koodo unavailable, but have full bars. what can i do to fix this.

Step 1: Battery pull.

Step 2: Ensure Use Only 2G Networks aren't selected.

Step 3: Do a manual network search.
