Full and Final settlement made, but self-service portal shows balance

Number 780-293-7090. The balance due was paid thru met credit on 19th Feb 2018. But the self-service login still shows a small amount due. This needs to be regularised and shown as a zero balance. The number is not used since April 2017 and the connection was closed after a few months.

Hi Kesavan,
So your account has been settled through a collection agency? If so you need to keep a receipt of the payment, and contact the collection agency for the closure of the case.

This was done thru Met Credit and they said the account is now repaid, But my self serve portal, shows a balance, Isnt the collection agency or Koodo supposed to reconcile customers account and close the same?

Hi Kesavan - I do see a payment applied to the account in February, but it was not for the full amount owing.
I would suggest you give us a call and speak with our collections team for guidance. There's a chance it may still need to be sorted through Met Credit, but our reps would be best to advise, especially if the agency is saying they do not see an outstanding balance.

When I spoke with metcredir they said a 20% discount will be applied, hence the difference. But that's yet to be reflected.

You may want to follow up with them in that case. Any discount offered is done so through them, and is not reflected or mentioned on your Koodo account.

I've send them an email on that. They said the issue could be settled at 20% off hence the 245 CAD payment.
