As far as I know there's a 9 month waiting period with good payment history to remove spending cap. I would call in and ask if you're eligible to have it removed. If you are, cool, enjoy using the tab as a subsidy on a new phone. If not, you still won't be able to access any -Tab.

It sucks having to pay full price, but... the advantages to no Tab:

- Rate plan freedom. You can pick anything you want.

- Less worry if you need to cancel for any reason. You now own hardware outright. Especially advantageous on the Nexus 4 since it comes factory unlocked right away.

- You can maintain a 10% discount on your rate plan (excluding credits, late payments, taxes, overages, etc.) as long as you have 0 or + Tab, but the tab is "stuck" there. Once you use - Tab at all, the discount is voided.

I called them & they told me I been paying my bills on time since the very start & that is why they said to call in September.I just wished that I didn't have to wait another 90days to get the phone unlocked, the one I am aiming to get on the 1st of August.

Is it customer service or is it the system that removes the spending cap on the account after 9 months of always paying the account ? I was told my credit score was X & that I need to have it at C formally A

Hey Stevie, that information shouldn't even be given out, as it's used for Agent reference only. That being said, the system will automatically switch you over after the required time period.

No need to delete it. I just found it weird that a Koodo rep willingly gave you information about the specific credit class. Most of the time we don't give that out, as it can confuse the customer as it really doesn't have much relevence to them. Basically once you are off the spending cap program, you will have access to the -$150 tab balance.

Just the -$150 tab not the other ones as I just saw that you all increased the Samsung Galaxy S4 $100 more now :(

You would be bumped up to the -$150 tab automatically. You can go with a Tab M, but you would need a rate plan of at least $30 and there is the $5 monthly tab contribution.

I saw that I can take a plan of what I am already on & use it on the medium tab
