Are both members on the same account? Koodo does indeed have unlimited family calling, but it is determined by the people all being on the same account. If there are separate accounts then no family calling.

Were there older plans that didn't allow for talk between different numbers on the same account? Was this ever plan-related? I don't recall.

If I remember correctly...when I wan on the Canada wide $15 plan ( 50 min,50 text, no unlimmited eves&weekends), it was included family calling.
It have to be on the same account - one bill.

I'm pretty sure this feature was plan dependant, and everyone had to be on the same account for it.

What plan do you have? Do you receive one bill for 5 lines?

Hi Chris, since we can't access accounts from here, the best will be to send us an email. You can use this link: http://koo.do/11eMLdy. Make sure to log in your Self Serve first, as it will give us access to your account :) Thank you!
