I forgot to pay my bill and for the last two days I wasn't able to send/receive anything. I only realized an hour ago and paid it. Is there any way to recover all the texts I missed?

And why on earth doesn't Koodo send me an email or text or something to let me know?

I don't believe that there's a way to recover them. I receive reminders via text and e-mail when my bill is ready.

How far behind are you? Koodo doesn't cut your service till about 90 days (unless you're on the spending limit program) and they call you constantly asking you to call them and make arrangements for payment.

Anyway, have you tried restarting your phone? The system keeps messages for a short time before erasing them so you may still be in luck after a restart.

I may be wrong but the texts might come in once your service is re-activated. Also, it's not your service providers responsibility to tell you to pay your bill. Goes for any bill for that matter.

Let me suggest pre-authorized payments through credit card or your bank account. This way, you don't have to worry about paying for it as it comes out automatically.

Hello Andrew,

If you would like to receive your bill notification by text or email, you can set it on your Self-Serve by following the next steps:

-Log in
-Go to Self-Serve-->Monthly Customers
-Go to Billing
-Go to Change Bill Type/Notifications
-Scroll down to Billing Notification-->Text message notification
-Choose the number you want the notification to be sent on (you can choose maximum 3 phone numbers to receive the notification)

-For e-mail notifications check the little square on the left of e-mail notification
-Confirm changes
After you do these steps, you should receive the notification via the selected path.

Also, there is no way of recovering the texts received while the service has been interrupted.

Thank you,
