I have had my Koodo account for 11 days. I have received my first bill and it amounts to $62. How does a 44$ plan per month amount to $62 in 10 days?

It's pro ration. What that means: On page 3 of the bill you'll see charges from the date of activation up until your billing cycle date and then the first whole month so it looks higher but this only happens once upon first activation and every time you change your plan mid cycle.

Your first bill includes partial charges from your activation date to the end of your billing cycle, plus the next full month in advance.

This video will explain :)
