Hello

I just received my first bill, to my surprise there is an extra charge "PARTIAL CHARGES" , I am on the 40 plan... So I am expecting a bill of 40 Month + Tab ($15) + Taxes.

this bill is for 101.33 ,   the Partial Charges are for $ 34.67.

Do I need to call customer service or can someone look into this and advise here?

Also, I need to make sure that the data gets block when it reaches the 1G as per the plan.

Thank you

Juan

Your first bill is your first full month plus the partial billing cycle for when you first join up. Don't worry you didnt get overcharged! This link will explain here:

You can go into your usage in self-serve, and then select notifications to ensure you have shut down at 100% enabled but it should be so by default.

Since you are on a Shock Free Data Plan, the data will stop and a text message will be sent to the phone to give the option to buy more data or use the overage rate.  If no reply is sent, the data will remain off until the next billing cycle

You need to double check in your selfserve on the data usage, and make sure all notifications are on and the data block was on. Not sure how it could happened, but some people reported in the forum, they got data overage without notification.

@Juan, your notification and pause/block is indeed properly set up. A notification was sent on the 2nd of November to remind you that the line reached 100% use of your allotted monthly data and that it was paused until the end of your bill cycle or when you purchase additional amount of data.
