Fees for unreturned warranty phone

So i claimed a warranty phone because the lg g3 i have now is not the best that battery sucks. The phone gets stupidly hot and j get the canot download error all the time and i didnt download anything.. Now if i end up keeping that phone and the new one they send me what will the fee be for not returning the damaged phone

If you keep it, you buy it. You have to pay whatever you owe for the phone.

Why would you want to keep a crapped out phone? It's obviously so easy to abuse if they don't get the old one. That is not a rip off if you get charged for a phone that you won't return that was replaced.

Hey Athelma! Did you process the exchange with the Koodo extended warranty? If so, you must give them a call to see how much they will charge you on your credit card for the unreturned phone.  You will also be responsible to pay off your Tab on top of the no return fee if you decide to keep the phone.  Hope this clarifies things!

Here's an excerpt from Koodo's Service Warranty Protection Plan Contract page:

"Covered Equipment approved for replacement must be returned to Us at Our shipping expense in the return mailer provided to You with Your Replacement Equipment within fifteen (15) days from the Replacement Equipment shipment date. If We do not receive Your original equipment within fifteen (15) days from the Replacement Equipment shipment date, You will be charged a Non-Returned Equipment Charge".

There are three non-returned equipment charge tiers: $100, $175 and $225. The non-returned equipment charges coincide with the Phone Tier that was selected based on the phones' value at time of purchase. Refer to your extended warranty contract to see which equipment tier was selected for your phone. See the table at the top of the page, (link below). You're better off returning the un-returned warranty phone.
