FB not working on new Curve with old blackberry social plan...

I got a new Blackberry Curve 9320 today but kept my old plan which included the old blackberry social add-on that is no longer available but I realized that none of the social apps are working like FB, there is a message saying that I am not allowed to use them with my current plan..... Help please?

Go to options->device->advanced system settings->host routing table
Press the menu button
Click on register now
Turn phone off
Turn phone back on.

Thank you but it did not work. I tried it a couple of times and nothing changed.
If I redo the same steps when i go to register now is still says no entries, is this normal?

Look under manage connections, mobile network settings and make sure data is switched on. This phone did come from koodo, right?

Yes with koodo at a koodo counter. Haha thanks it is working now because the wifi was off but hmm does this mean that it is only working because I am at home and I have access to my internet connection? I do not have wifi with my koodo plan. Just social network apps like fb, twitter, bbm, etc... Just want to make sure I am not going to be charged extra fees? Sorry, I really am a noob!

Wifi is separate from 3G data and is always free of charge. BB social will give unlimited access to social media sites, which is all it will let you access. At the bottom of the page where you turned wifi on there should be an option for mobile network settings. You need to make sure mobile data is turned on or you will not be able to connect when out of wifi range.

ok so since I am here it is connecting to my home wifi, when I leave it will connect to some other connection automatically? I just never had to change any settings in my old phone so I never actually had to think about it.

As long as you follow Timo's advice, and turn on the data switch, when you leave a wifi connection your phone should grab the Koodo network on its own. If it doesn't, call customer care at *611 and you can get tech support for free.

It seemed really complicated but Koodo eventually found the problem and solved it after a couple of hours on the phone with them.... Thanks for your help!
