Hi Paul, are you on pre-paid or post-paid? What's the EXT network area you're roaming in, can you provide a postal code, highway intersection or town name?

There's no EXT service or call forwarding on pre-paid.

Take a look at your local tower. You need Telus or Bell service to stay "native" :

For Telus, Bell, Koodo, Virgin, etc., an EXT network means roaming on Rogers' network. It is not the same category as LTE/WCDMA/GSM, which are descriptions of the TYPE of network technology used to connect to the cellular network.

Your phone should show 'Koodo' when on the home network, and 'EXT' when roaming on Rogers network.

I recall another post where an individual was having trouble connecting to that tower. It may not have been fully set up at that time, but it was some months ago.

I would try powering down and removing the SIM, then powering on without the SIM (will of course give an error, but it will flush any connection data). Power down, re-insert the SIM and power back on. Under mobile network operators, try checking automatic rather than locking into Koodo manually. It may take a few minutes to refresh your local providers.
