This is one thing I loved from VM, they often offered exclusive rebates for movies tickets, plane tickets, concerts, restaurants, etc etc. That would be a great thing to implement for Koodo customers.

Hey can't complain with discounts but I'd rather they reduce the cost of plans to make up for those discounts offered from the competition. Koodo can't really offer those discounts probably because they don't own other businesses like those who own VM.

Bell doesn't own Cineplex, nor does it own Porter Airlines, therefore, it's not a matter of the telecom company paying for it, but having other companies do some publicity to Koodo customer while offering interesting offers to us customers is an added benefit. I got free movies, discounts at New York Fries, my sister 30% discounts at Y&M and other very interesting offers from 3rd party companies ;-)

I thought they owned major shares in those companies. IDK

Maybe they do, it might just be a lack of knowledge on my part.

Hey Don, this is definitely an interesting idea. We'll take it under consideration. As always, should a decision be made, we will let everyone know :).

I love this idea. It's a great way for Koodo to give back to trusted customers who have been with Koodo a long time. I use to be with Clearnet (now know as Telus) a while back and they did this. I use to get a monthly promotion sent to me along with my bill and a calender at Christmas time in the post full of coupons for the entire year. I loved it and it was something to look forward to. I know this post was posted a year ago - but it would be nice, if Koodo seriously considers it. I'm a fan :)
