Software and motherboard are two completely separate issues, as the motherboard is hardware and not software related. Regardless, if the warranty has expired you are pretty much out of luck unless you want to pay someone to try and repair whatever is wrong with it. If it took more than a year to call them its highly unlikely that its any kind of manufacturers defect.

They said Motherboard was fried and nothing I did , just happens. No problems over the year , just 2 days after warranty it died completly.

I would get a second opinion. Try some cell phone repair shops in your area and get a quote for motherboard replacement. Get the repair shop to check the phones' battery. If a new phone isn't in the budget right now, you might be able to get a little more mileage out of the S4 and save a few dollars along the way. Just a suggestion.

Where did you purchase it? "Just throw it out" seems like rather lazy, uninspired advice to give to a customer.
