Hello
I recently changed from bell to koodoo. I kept my old phone number and just transferred it over. The problem is that I still receive texts on my old phone but I can call using my new one. Also I have just received the welcome email. When I try to login it tells me that my username/password is wrong so I use the 'Lost my password section' I try typing in my email address and it tells me that there are no accounts that can be found so I try creating a new account but my phone number is not valid. HELP I cant call customer service as they charge 5$ per call

Customer service does not charge anything for calling, not sure where you got that. And did you just do the port? As it takes 2 hours to be completed. Also before you click on lost my password you must first create an account by clicking on register.

When I try the phone numbers provided on the website it informs me before connecting me with a representative that I will be charged 5$ for the call
I activated the phone/sim card over 24 hours ago

I had created an account at the booth at the mall. When I saw it didn't work I tried to recreate one but it said that my phone number and email is not valid

You must use same email address to create your self serve account. It better to call customer service to fix it because you tried to recreate and it didn't work.
*611 from your phone, and they don't charge you for technical assistance as Mathieu mentioned.
