emergency calls only

Moto G phone, 1 week old. Was out of cell range today so turned off phone. When I got home there was one message from Koodo re: US roaming plans, but no service bars showing and emergency calls only.
Have turned phone on and off numerous times.

Hi Karen,

Are you back in Canada at the moment? Or are you in the United States? If you are back home you can turn the phone off and then remove the sim card from the phone for a minute then put it back in and turn the phone on. If you still find you're not getting service you can try the following steps to see if the phone will pick up Koodos signal.

Select Settings - More - Mobile Network - Network operators and it should bring up a list of available providers and select on Koodo then that should bring back your service.

Try taking out the SIM Card after you turn it off and then put it back in and turn it on and try it again .

On the very bottom of the phone where you plug in the charger there's a spot where the back cover snaps into place, it is very hard to get off, but don't worry you won't break it, it's designed to come off.

if any one has 911 problams may do to sim card how ever to bett
koodo charges www.fongo.com this will help you out is not the best
but butter then being charge?

Pull your batter and sim for about a minute. Reassemble and try again. Of that doesn't work your sim or the connections maybe faulty.

Kelsie you may want do software reset please don't for get is like computer os clear the running app In the back round by hitting the home button
if that doesn't work hardreset I hope this help you
