I've been trying to cancel my phone for 2 weeks now. I'm calling the customer service number and staying on the line for 2 hours but still no luck. I need to get my phone cancelled asap because I'm leaving the country. Isn't there any other way to cancel it without waiting my whole day on the phone for them to help me??

Have you not received the call back option when you call?
The only other way to cancel would be to port your number out to another service. For example you could buy a prepaid Virgin Mobile sim card and port your number to that.

You can try messaging Koodo on facebook or twitter and see if they can do anything for you. Explain that you have been trying for 2 weeks and cant get through.

Better to buy a Bell SIM card. With Virgin Mobile, you have to call in to port. With Bell, you can do it online during activation.

Send a letter to their mailing address with written cancellation instructions and a future date. Keep a copy for your records.
