Email promo not sending to proper link - want to upgrade pay as you go to monthly

Received an email promo (currently pay as you go) to switch to monthly at @25/mth for unlimited talk and text.  When I click on the link it doesn't seem to be for this specific promo.  Also if I try and change the plan through the account, this one is not offered  - don't want to click on a higher monthly plan if I'm not given the option to enter the promo code.  Received the email on July 12th - don't think it has expire yet.  Thanks.

hi Roblyn,
What link did they sent to you?. Normally you will have to go to the normal page with normal plans first. After entering the promo code, and your number (as validation code), the promo plan will appear for you to select.

Hi, this is the link  https://www.koodomobile.com/go?choosekoodo&cid=telDM11584&bid=31389399  When I click it wants me to purchase a phone (she has her own), then it says to sign in before shop so when I do it takes me to her profile page and then when I see the 'change plans' it doesn't offer anything near of what the email is offering so I don't want to select anything.  Do they treat Koodo prepaid as 'new customers'?  And do I need to buy a new SIM card because I'm going from prepaid to monthly?  Just don't want to sign my mother up for something that isn't this promo.  I know when I change my monthly plan it's instant, so want to make sure.  If I can't figure this out, my retired mother definitely won't be able to :-)  Thanks in advance.

You can enter promo code only after you picked a phone.

Those offer is switching from prepaid to postpaid.
If prepaid customer who received this offer from Koodo want to do this, you have to pick a phone.
But, why I have to buy a phone? They already have a phone as a prepaid customer.
It works if you want to upgrade your phone at same time...
Otherwise you can't continue through online.

Yes you are considered a new customer. Click on the link Dinh gave you for plans. Hopefully following the promo code steps you will see the plan you want. They will send you a new Sim with your plan details. You will also receive an email with a link in it to set up a postpaid self serve account. Only go through that link to set up self serve. Your new Sim will come activated with a temporary number. You then port her number from prepaid into the new postpaid account through self serve.

@Mayumi: Yes, the SIM only wasn't there in the link, but if customer select  a BYOD plan, that would let them to choose the SIM only. From there, the promo option was available (after they enter the promo code and validation code). I haven't tried it again, but it worked before.

@Mayumi if they just click on plans they can enter a promo code. Koodo would just like a new phone purchased as well but it's not mandatory. Her offer mentions just picking a plan and Sim but the link takes you to phones.

Ok, I made it. Thank you Dinh and Mat.
I was trying to grt through from their link to get SIM order or the page I can enter my promo code.

So, those people who received this promo -prepaid to monthly , don't use their link.
Just go to shop under BYOD and add SIM and enter promo code. Then you will see promo plan their.

It wasn't easy to find :(
They need add "SIM" under phone selection page.

@Roblyn
I already asked Koodo why I can't do this process online.

They are looking into it.

You should be able to get this promo if you go to a Koodo store.
Show them your email and give them the "promo code"and your prepaid phone number.

Thanks everyone for your help. Appreciate it :-)  Honestly, it shouldn't have been that difficult/involved to click a link for an upgrade ;-)

I agree it shouldn’t be this hard. I mean if I see “Click here” or “select switch now” , then I just keep clicking until find page...
Thanks for Dinh and Mat. I finally could do it though online.
(You needed go to shop page under BYOD and add SIM card .
