email dtls were entered by salesguy at koodo kiosk are wrong,can't access my acct or anything. i need this fixed so i can switch to mthly.

when I purchased my phone, the salesguy screwed up entering the details and email etc, now I can't access my acct ore anything. I can only use *611 with my 4 digit pin to adds money but I want to change my acct to a monthly instead of prepaid. how do I fix this? I used my phone to call cust. service but they want a $5.00 fee. I shouldn't have to pay $5.00 for koodo's salesguy screw up.

since it's not something you can fix on your own, Koodo won't charge you to talk to a rep.

You will probably have to go back to a Koodo kiosque, unfortunately.

Changing over to monthly will require a new SIM, which are only commonly available at the company store. It will set you back $5.00.

Setting up for monthly means registering a brand new self-serve account, so you have the opportunity to set things right as far as your details are concerned.

If you port your number, you will also lose whatever boosters or time you have left in the pre-paid account, so best to do the switch when your balances are as near zero as possible.

If you don't care about keeping the same number, get a new one for the monthly account, stop topping up your prepaid and keep that SIM handy. If you decide in the first 90 days that monthly does not work out for you, then you can go back to prepaid and maintain your old booster balances by putting back the old SIM and topping up.

Thank you for this information, this is very good advice. my balance is at $0.00, my acct is temp. suspended as I haven't topped up my prepaid base plan thingy cause I thought it'd be better for me when I switch to a monthly. I purchased a $50.00 voucher for my koodo so I have it to apply toward the switch over. OR??? Do I have to add it no matter what so the original base plan is in effect?

Prepaid account and a monthly account are totally different.
They will run a credit check on you when you open a monthly account, so you will need to bring proper ID when you go to a store.

I don't think you can use $50 top up voucher towards monthly plan.

And if you want to port your number, they need active account. I'm not sure they can do if your account is suspended.
