Because people are sometimes careless.

Sometimes people miss the warning that this is a public forum and they post question with personal details. The problem is, that if someone comments on the post, to say, point out not to post personal details the original poster can no longer edit his/her own post. Eventually the post gets deleted to protect the original poster if the post gets flagged but if the poster could just edit it out after getting a reply telling him/her that such information is dangerous it would save a lot of time and thus better protect the poster.

Hey Curtules,

We don't have a way to flag them through direct message. That's why when we catch private information listed on the
Community, we remove it as soon as possible so that it doesn't stay public too long.

Our job is to inform and build awareness that this is a public forum. We just recently updated the contact us page to remind everyone
that this is an open forum and not to post any private info. http://koodomobile.com/en/on/contact.shtml
