Hello! I am travelling to the USA for 7 days and would like to be able to use my phone as much as I want. Under my current plan I have unlimited texting and 500 Canada wide minutes (i am not that concerned about Data as I rarely use it). If I add on the Easy-Roam USA plan for $7/day does this mean that I can leave my phone on as I normally would and place calls back to Canada and send an unlimited number of texts?

That would be correct. It's like how you'd normally use your plan. You'd still have 500min and unlimited texts.
You also only trigger the $7 charge if you make or answer a phone call, send a text or use data. Dont do anything, dont get charged.

@Emma, it seems you do use data every month. You have 500mb in your plan and you are over 80% of your bucket for the month. So, when you get to the states your data , if used might be blocked to protect you from a surprise bill. Minutes and text you will be able to use as if you were at home. At your bill cycle things restart again. Your is on the 28th of every month.

I do use my data, but am not concerned about having it on my travel plan.

what happened to the old add on of $15 for 7 days in the states?   At $7/day  ...that's a whole extra month's charge for only a week of service.
