Does the $10 Easy roam charge if you receive a text message? Or do you have to reply to the text to have it kick on? Same with pay per use, are you charged for incoming text or only outgoing?

Hi Kelly,
Easyroam allow you to access your minutes and text in your plan. Texting should be included in the $7 or $10/day.

There is no charge for incoming text while roaming.

This is confusing. Let’s say I Easy Roam enabled, have data off, send no texts, make no calls. Am I charged for incoming texts?

And am I only charged for the days I use it? So I am in Mexico for 14 days, however only send messages on three of the days. Am I charged $140 or am I charged $30? Data is off. But phone is receiving texts

@Kelly:
"The daily Easy Roam fee is valid for 24 hours, and applies when you make or pick up a call and send a text or use data abroad." https://www.koodomobile.com/easyroam

Yes, if you send texts for 3 days, easyroam should be charged for 3 days ($30). Incoming text is free and won't trigger easyroam.

If you only send a few texts, you might be wiser to just pay at pay-per-use rates. Three texts over three days = $1.80.
