Hi. My daughter is in Japan and we added easy roam before she left Canada 1 week ago. We received confirmation it had been added. We have been texting and even calling but the easy roam has not kicked in- she has been using her personal data apparently and it has reached its max now. Is she doing something wrong?

so she would have to add more data? We do not see the 10$ per day charge anywhere. Will this only be added at the end of the cycle?

Usually you see it on the next bill.

Can she check that international voice roaming is active in her add-ons?

Easy Roam is really only a billing function that lets you use your home minute and data allotments abroad for a fixed daily fee.

Under prepaid, or with previous roaming plans, you paid $xx for a separate limited bucket of roaming minutes, texts or data ahead of time. You were indirectly being double charged, because there was no way you could use your domestic  minutes or data at the same time, and you could end up paying for overages in one or the other even though all the other buckets were full and would expire at the end of the billing period.
