Easy Roam charge for non-use days?

I am travelling in the US and have been charged $7 per day for at least 2 days that I didn't use my phone. No incoming, no outgoing, no data and no outgoing texts. One was yesterday - I'm pretty sure I didn't forget. What's happening?

I would suggest you turnoff easy roam (remove it from your selfserve) if you don't use it.

The triggering of easyroam could be cause by some "data leaks" in either apps or Android. I don't know if it was calculated by the roaming carrier or Koodo. However, as you said in another thread, you called in to deal with it before, properly you will have to do it to dispute again.

You should read this thread: https://community.koodomobile.com/koodo/topics/us-roaming-charges-0-001mb   Is your "usage" the small data leakage described?  This has been an unaddressed problem with Koodo (and Telus) for a couple of years, at least.  It is made worse by the Easy Roam plan,which  you a day's usage ($7) every time your phone handshakes with a different network.

If you are being charged for more data or for texts and calls, you must not be using the "flight mode" on your phone.

@ Bob, pls send us a private message on Facebook so we can take a closer look. The charges are triggered by calls it looks like, but number called or received call from seems odd and we'd like to check it.
