we've been with Koodo for 4 years.  My wife's phone has always randomly
dropped calls, usually when talking long distance to a land line.
This occurs
when we are stationary,  in our home, with -80db signal.

It has been getting
far worse lately, happening a few times every day.
We  have tried switching the sim to other a few other phones, and even got a
new sim card for the phone from the Koodo store all to no avail.

When
it drops a call, it will often then continue dropping the call every
few minutes, making calling the person back over and over a frustrating
experience.
Other times, you can talk for an hour with no issues.

is anyone else experiencing this? what can be done?

Is it possible that your proximity sensor is malfunctioning and not turning the screen off while near your ear on a call. Does it happen when your using speaker phone? Try speaker phone if you haven't and just see if it happens. If it doesn't then you may want to send your device for repair of the proximity sensor possibly.

Thanks Paul, but as I said this happens with several different physical phones, and even when using bluetooth adapter.
