Hey Bev,

Have you tried to remove/reinsert the SIM card as well as the battery (if removable)? It can make a difference.

If you still have the issue, I suggest that you visit a Koodo store (http://koo.do/IVOQTV) or call one of our techs by dialing 1-866-995-6636 (option #6) from a landline in order to have your phone available for a complete troubleshooting

Thanks

yes i have re & re the SIM card . Also have talked to a koodo tech and they have walked me through the troubleshooting steps. We do live rural but have had koodo service for 7 yrs now and this is the first time we have had so much trouble. I have an iphone and my husband has a samsung s3 and it is happening to him too.

After you have tried removing the SIM card as well as the battery (if removable), and it still isn't functioning properly, you might want to visit the Koodo coverage website to see if your area is supported by Koodo. Rural areas tend to not get reception that well with Koodo:(
Hope this helps:)

Hmmm...
I am not so sure why you would not be getting reception if you have been getting reception for the past 7 years....
With all due respect, I would recommend transferring from Koodo to a wider banded carrier like Rogers if you are still having the problem.
And also, if you got a Koodo rep to help you and it still didn't work, I guess Koodo might not be the carrier for you unfortunately:(
