Hi ; I recently upgraded my phone with Koodo . I have been with Koodo for several years and have upgraded before . When I did the upgrade I paid off my tab (my phone bill was paid up to date also) and the salesperson informed me that my new phone bill would be approximately $10 more than my old one , plus applicable taxes . This would bring my monthly bill to approximately $62 with the cost of the phone being paid my monthly tab .. I just received my on-line bill and it is $124 . Since I am not a new customer why am I being charged so much . My bill was normally $43 plus taxes.

On page 3 or 4 of your bill goers is a summary of exactly what the charges are for.

What do you see there?

As Chad says, check the summary. I suspect that your minutes were prorated when your plan was changed, pushing you into overage territory. Your bill summary will confirm whether this is the case. If it is, call koodo. They may be willing to adjust the overage charges.

Thanks for the reply but that is not the case . I rarely use my phone during day time hours and never come close to using my 500 daytime minutes . Last month I used 41 of my 500 daytime minutes and 141 free evening/weekend minutes . As far as using data I used 29 of my 100mb . Since there were only two days left in my billing cycle I doubt prorating would be the problem . It almost looks like I was charged as a new customer . I will call customer service for an explanation .

Once again , thanks for the help.
