What phone do you have? you can disable data (internet connection you were talking about) in your phone settings.

my phone is Samsung note 3
I think I couldn't have done it. It is a difficult puzzle and I am not familiar with this devices . I received a msg, saying high data usage, etc
do you have an office in Ottawa, tomorrow I can go , get my phone fixed.Could you tell me also, if I am being charged for today's internet usage? I used it just a few minutes, expecting there wouldn't be any connection. I am too old to understand all those stuff at once

Dude, this is an open forum. We are customers just like you trying to help one another. Take a quick second to read what Daniel and Chad recommended and you'll be ok. If you still fear go to a koodo store in ottawa. There are quite a few.

The instructions to change the data settings to off are pretty straight forward. If you take a few breaths and say there is no such thing as too old. My 75yr old mother in law uses a tablet with no problem. Saying you're too old is a cop out.

You have an Android phone
Here are the specific instructions for your device.

Keep in mind you can not break your device by changing a setting. Just follow the instructions and you'll find it empowering that you accomplish this on your own.
Thank you . I followed the instructions , and did it. One more question. I connected with the wifi at home. Disabling mobile data , does it prevent me to connect at home too

No, you can still use wifi at home. But as long as that data switch is off you will not be able to use Koodo Data. Wifi is not chargeable data.
