does Koodo let you add purchases from the Google play store to your bill?

Without a credit card there is no other way to purchase apps in Canada, so maybe Koodo could add purchases to your bill like other carriers do?

The charge my bill option is for people who don't have money to pay for a prepaid credit card or any source of plastic to charge but can still afford the fees through their phone bill which is only charged once a month...

Google Play isn't setup for carrier billing, period. Doesn't matter if you're on Rogers, Bell, Telus, etc.

A prepaid card is a good idea or you can apply for a real one with a bank? They're handy and help you build your credit and allow instant payments...

Yeah, this is really old. It was enabled a while ago for Telus (I use it) but I'm not sure about Koodo.

Hello Kyle,

There is no way to charge it to your bill. There is no carrier in Canada that does this method. As Arika have suggested, prepaid visa or mastercard would work with Google Play. However, when your buying this prepaid credit cards, they charge you a little bit extra for service fee. So you may pay a little bit more.

Erwin, this is just a friendly reminder that it is unnecessary to repeat what everyone else has said. OP's don't need to be reading the same thing twice and just causes unnecessary clutter.

I don't know what you're talking about but I know personally that there is the possibility of purchasing things from the play store and have it appear on your phone bill, quite a few of my friends did too... so yeah... :/

But you can go for the free apps that are on Google Play. That is what I do.

Free apps can only go so far, and if a free app has in app purchases, being able to use the charge my bill option is very handy to have.

I don't know if Koodo has this option but I know a lot of other cell phone companies do allow it.

no koodo does not allow for this option. I would go with hippie on this one. Most banks offer visa debit connected to your chequing account now. I use mine a lot. :)

Hey Kyle!

Using a visa debit works, if you have a bank account, and your bank offers visa debit, I would suggest that. I use it all the time. :D

If you're paying for stuff with VISA Debit, you are just looking for trouble.
