Does Koodo have family plans?

I would like to move my family to Koodo and want to get some information about family plans.

Nope... There is no family plans to share minutes or data, but there is something even better... All the numbers on the same account will have unlimited calling... Yes, no limits on those calls between those lines...
This makes no sense with other posts I have read about this type of thing. If there is no family plan per se, how can there be one account? Ohhh this is sooo confusing...

Not sure what's so confusing. You have more then one cell phone attached to the same account.

We have a Koodo   plan  (family ) 2 phones 55 dollars month , does that include internet acess or is there another up charge to add internet service s?

You will need to look at the specifics of your plan by logging into self serve and clicking on "view rate plan". WiFi is free for everyone, you just need an internet connection. Data is what is with some plans which is what you will be looking for.

I have a Koodo mobile with $25 monthly plan.
My wife is new to Canada & has an unlocked smart phone with no SIM card.
How do I add her to koodo family plan with me?

You would need to go into a Koodo shop with her phone, tell the rep what you want to do, they will sell you a sim card and activate it on your account :).

Hi Jorden, Thanks for your reply. But my nearest Koodo Store I think is in Saskatooon. Is there a way that I could do it online or by phoning the customer service?

You can use the store locator(http://koodomobile.com/en/on/storeloc...) to find the nearest kiosk/retailer near you :).

I still have $200 spending cap in my Koodo account. I phoned Koodo customer service and they say that I have to be with Koodo for at least an year to add one person to my family plan. Is that true?

Unfortunately yes. When you are on the spending cap program you can only have one phone/account in your name.

You take here to ur nearest koodo booth and tell them you want her on the same acct. then it will be family calling between ur 2 phones.

Really? The Spending Cap Program only allows one phone/line in an account. Were you on the Spending Cap Program or was the other person on it because if you were both on it, then you couldn't of merged the accounts together but if the other person was not on it, then you could of put the account under his name which would solve the problem.
We have NO cells and researching phones, plans, etc. All looked good with Koodo until I saw no family plan. From what I have read here, if we have never had a cells, and wanted to sign up with Koodo we would have to have two seperate accounts?
