It's a great idea and I wish Koodo offered it, but I'm afraid they don't at the moment, hua wu :(

that's too bad. but in the blog, it said " Students should be able to get $5 off per month (all carriers seem to be offering this) and those who bring their own devices should qualify for 10% off (you should ask for it)."

Ooooh really??? I am not aware of a $5 discount, hopefully somebody else can confirm this. As far as I know, Koodo does not offer it.
You can definitely apply for a 10% discount though if you bring your own phone... that much I do know :)

Koodo does not offer this and for future reference, don't trust everything you read online, especially when it comes to iphoneincanada and mobilesyrup, ha.

I believe this offer is just for Rogers/Bell clients as per Jonathan (a member here who works at The Mobile Shop).

for Rogers it's now $10 off, which is sweet, but it's only on their Smart Picks plans, and those plans can only go with select devices (Optimus G, S III, RAZR HD, Bold 9900, Xperia T and ZL, One X and S, and so forth).

Not to stir the pot or anything but there us a really good deal... you can get any of those phones on a 2 year flex tab agreement (in store price is $99 or less depending on the phone) and get Unlimited Canada wide talk, unlimited text/pic/video messages, call display and voice mail and 500 MB of data for $60 - student discount = $50. or drop down to their $50 (-10 = $40) plan for 150 Canada wide and 400 MB of data. offer is on until September 30th.

That's better than what Koodo offers for high subsidies and there's some good phones on the list... Koodo should look into competing.
