Does changing your SIM affect your current plan?

I was given an unaffiliated iPhone 5s that I want to use with Koodo. I've been informed that the iPhones require a much smaller SIM card than the standard sized one I currently own. I've seen tutorials and read articles of people sanding/cutting their SIM cards down to fit, but I know if I attempt that I'll just render it unusable anyway.

I'm not really sure what to do in this situation. Since I already have a (very old and frustratingly slow) phone with a SIM registered to Koodo, am I able to purchase a smaller SIM from Koodo to use in the iPhone, and have my plan stay the same?

Hi Aislinn,

No worries :) All you need to do is buy a nano SIM card ($10 from Koodo) and activate it in self service. Couldn't be easier :)
