Does any one know if the samsung galaxy not 3 sm-9005 will work on koodo?

If it meets the frequency requirements, it should. 850/1900 MHz

If you can get the IMEI on the phone(would be on the side of the box, or if you go to settings > About Phone, it should be in there as well), type it in on this website and it will tell you if it will work :)

Also! Make sure it isn't locked to another service provider. If you bring the phone to a Koodo store/kiosk, they will be able to let you know if it is unlocked.

If it is locked you can get it unlocked from a 3rd party unlocking service like cellunlocker.net or GSMLiberty.com for around $30.

The IMEI checker is not 100% accurate. The only way to know for sure is to try an active Koodo sim card after it's unlocked.

Well he can definitely give it a shot! :) it might not be 100% accurate, but it'll give him a good idea whether or not it'll meet our requirements!

I don't have the phone yet i was going to order it unlocked off amazon. It says on Samsung's website that it will work on those frequencies.
